I'm sorry Jen but people do not generally just stumble into situations where they have sexual contact with 13 year old girls. Presumably the event happened in the hood so yeah, those kinds of issues can spring up since teens try to look a lot older than they are and all kinds of ages interact. If nothing else, it's different from guys who go into it knowing that the girl is underage or try to go into it because the girl is underage. While we can sit here and say, "Well, he should have carded her!", that's not a terribly realistic response, nor would it hold up in court as a defense since people have been convicted even when their partner had a fake ID. He got attacked for his money and valuables, or another beef.
