Bobbi was recovering for most of the season, but was still a complete badass and was tons of fun to watch. She kinda filled both May and Simmons' shoes simultaneously, but she was a good character.

Hunter was driven by revenge for most of the season, but Coulson got it eventually for him. Still, he's always been in love with Bobbi and doing everything for her. He was hilarious and fun, but gave mixed impressions - in season 2, it felt very clear that he was choosing to be a SHIELD agent for the sake of SHIELD, and not just Bobbi. But in s3, it felt like he was mostly only there for her.

The episode where they were written out was bad with good parts. Hunter's performance in it was amazing. The way the episode was styled was cool. The last season was one to remember. But it was kinda confusing and sloppy. Since their spinoff doesn't end up happening... it sucks for them to be gone. It just help to really shrink down the cast again, but man, what a waste. And they had to use up an episode slot for that episode...

Gideon could've been done better. They had a lot of room to set him up to be a big bad. Would've been cool if he was even more diabolical and dangerous in the first half of the season. Or utilized in s2 a bit more, idk. He needed to be a bigger villain, I felt. So that when Hive "turned" on him, it actually had more meaning than "old man is scared". There was space for him to be something special... and he was just means to an end.

Joey was a cool write-in. It sucked a bit that he was put into the show, had a unique outlook and personality, and then removed. But while he was there, he had some cool angles in terms of personality. I'm really glad they showed someone who hated that he killed someone.

Yo-yo was really cool but seems a little OP. Still, she was introduced, just to... stay in her homeland. And then be brought in just cuz later? She was a cool character, and I really liked her interactions with Mack, don't get me wrong... just felt convenient. I liked her more when she was less fluent in English though. I think she's alive so... I guess we'll see if she comes back in season 4.

I know Ghost Rider is in season 4 and I can't help but be sure that the Inhuman guy is going to end up being him. Gives credence to Jiayiang not letting him become an Inhuman, and I actually don't remember what happened to him at the end of the season so...?

The season finale had a good deal of epicness. With this show, if there's one thing they do well, it is make the show amazing when shit hits the fan. Hive's plan was silly, but it was fine. My question is... is blowing him up with a missile in space really going to kill him? This is comics. We didn't watch him die... just the pod they were in.

Coulson was great this season. I loved seeing him fall for somebody, but having issues with trust because he's a spy, but still having it work out, until it didn't, then getting consumed by revenge. I don't think they made it clear enough that him killing Ward with his hand was a bad thing, and didn't really have him haunted enough by it. And he got too "it was a bad idea" too quickly afterwards. But I really liked seeing him go through the early season.

Andrew turning into Lash was a great use of the character, allowing May some development without putting her character into a hole. Lash was constantly fighting himself, his humanity vs. Inhumanity... and the purpose behind his transformation. Question is - was Andrew always meant to become Inhuman? Or did the Terragen gas just decide he would be. Was he always meant to become Lash? I guess so, since fate is prewritten, but it was kinda weird. Him saving Daisy being his purpose in the end... was dumb, because it was a much more convoluted series of events than him just killing Hive. But I digress.
