It won game of the decade for a decade it wasn't even a part of. It consistently hangs at the top of popularity polls everywhere else. People think that just because their friends when they were 8 preferred OoT, that MM is some underrated masterpiece, when it's always been popular. LA is the poster child of nostalgia bias though. Either Oracle game alone is 100x better, let alone a linked playthrough. But a great deal of people have LA as their number 1 Zelda game, because they remember playing it on long car rides as children. --- My sister's dog bit a hole in my Super Mario Land cartridge.
