They? The guy has never been identified and Zimmer, the woman, said it wasn't something she wanted. That he just came up to her, grabbed her, and kissed her. She said it wasn't romantic and it was a celebration of the war being over but she still said it wasn't her choice.

Trying to hard though? I simply pointed out the irony of using that picture to talk about crime rates, including rapes, decreasining. And then clarified things for another user.

But I'm more concerned about your post. Specifically the "they made peace" being historically incorrect and the implication that being at peace with something somehow forgives or absolves an action?
