I read part of a comic not long ago, I think it was from the last ten years or so. Clark is having a conversation with someone who knows his identity, and they ask him something like "So, you can never take your glasses off around anyone?" And Clark responds, "I do take my glasses off. And usually people just say 'you know, you look just like Superman'". I'm paraphrasing here, but the obvious implication is that people are so convinced that Clark couldn't possibly be Superman, that even if they see him without his "disguise", they would just think it's a coincidence.
