I have oral herpes/cold sores it's funny how people think "oh no! herpes!" 9/10 people have oral herpes, you just don't get breakouts. I'm sure a lot of people have genital herpes too but never get breakouts. It's like freaking out that someone had chicken pox once. You can also sleep with someone who has genital herpes and not catch it if they aren't in an outbreak. Please stop spreading this myth. It's 100% true though, if they're managing it with medication too. Herpes has a lot of stigma be go ND it. If you're having an outbreak you get a swollen, tingling spot that eventually turns into a sore. If you're not having an outbreak, which is 99% of the time, you can't transmit it. That's literally the opposite of what it says. It's says abstinence is the only true safety.
