94. Henry (Awakening)

If Henry just made puns, he'd easily be at least a little higher -- but his whole gimmick is weird death puns and it's one of those traits that feels very anime and not like something a real person would do. Like 80% of the time he's fine because he's either being serious or silly, but the other 20% is just awkward because he's trying to do both.

93. Darros (Shadow Dragon/New Mystery)

That's basically all there is to Darros since he doesn't really have lines. He's okay. He's a pirate, which is good, but wants to swear off piracy, which is boring.

92. Denning (7)

Denning is almost the highest ranking meme, so let's all give him a round of applause. While Denning is almost entirely a nothing boss who's just funny because of his repeated dialogue, he's also a bit creepy, being essentially a human tape recorder. It's part of the really excellent way FE7 developed its morphs - as an enemy group - over time, showing different variants that retained different aspects of their humanity. Considering how foes like the Risen, Faceless, and Terrors went largely unexplored, I genuinely appreciate it.

91. Samson (Shadow Dragon/New Mystery)

Wrong choice! Arran is more interesting as a sickly former knight trying to die with honor, though IIRC neither one is that great as a unit (you only get one of the two in Shadow Dragon). Samson is cool in New Mystery though, where he serves as Princess Sheema of Gra's bodyguard. You can either validate his high opinion of Marth by working with Sheema, or dash his expectations by killing her, making him turn against you.

Also, the dude actually looks like a hero of past renown, so he's got that going for him over Arran, who kinda looks like a YuGiOh villain.

90. Kieran (9/10)

Nothing against Kieran really, but he's one-note. It also really hurts him that "hot-blooded moron who keeps trying to fight people who are just Not Interested" also describes Mia from the same games, so his one note isn't even that special or unique.

Eh, beats Makalov.
