I've been to more concerts alone than with anybody else, because my musical interests have never aligned very well with most of my friends' interests. Sometimes I'll chat with people there, most times not, but I always enjoy going.

At certain points, sure. But this thing everyone does now of screaming every lyric is based on proving that you're a real fan, which is annoying.

This is the only think I don't like about concerts. Totally fine with singing along, but singing along does not mean shouting along right into the ears of the person in front of you, or singing very loudly, over the artist, during a quiet part... dumb fans gonna dumb.

In terms of a good crowd, that knew all the words, knew how and when to sing, get volume and tone and all that just right to actually enhance the experience instead of detract from it, the best show I've ever been to was on Motion City Soundtrack's 10 year anniversary tour for Commit This To Memory. Everyone in that crowd was fantastic.
