I just beat Persona 3 Portable (PSP) -- 4/10. I gave P3FES a 7/10, but there are just too many things that they made worse in my mind to give this version a positive rating. Took me 187h 20m to beat (I was doing a playthrough topic which added many hours).

I really liked P3FES and was really looking forward to the change where you directly control all party members. That was a definite plus, even though it made it much easier. Unfortunately, I found every other gameplay change to be a negative. The biggest negative being becoming tired in Tartarus does nothing. This really ruined the flow of the game since there's no reason to go as far as possible, leaving long stretches of doing nothing but building SLs, which I find rather boring, since there's no reason (other than the added rescue missions) to head back into Tartarus until the next section opens up.

I really like the progression of collecting, fusing, and powering up your personas, as well as exploring Tartarus, which is why I liked The Answer better than The Journey in P3FES. If I'm ever going to replay this game, it will definitely be on P3FES and not this.
