I don't understand why those are what makes the comparison relevant, though. Is your position that, when you're doing a casual game, it makes sense to make arbitrary changes that modify the entire style of play forfun, but when you make changes to the base game in order to make it more competitive, that's bad? Seems pretty arbitrary to me tbh, just let people play the game how they want --- But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. ...
