1) Yahoo? What is this 1996? No one uses Yahoo anymore.
2) If you actually read the article, it is in FAVOR of landlines. If anything, they are probably low balling the cost (which is more likely given that landlines in my area cost upwards of $50 a month WITH a cable and Internet bundle)
3) Tracphone is not a "low end phone", it is a pay-as-you-go option for people who don't use their phone enough to warrant having a full unlimited plan. You can use any cellphone with it. Plus, it actually uses the same networks as Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint (The 4 major carriers in the country).
4) It is available at every Walmart and Dollar General, far from "not available to most".
5) I gave as much effort as was needed to systematically destroy your argument. Anymore would just be me killing time I could be spending doing something else.

Whatever half-assed search thing you use. I skimmed it. Yeah, YOUR area not all areas. Going back to the previous answer it's not an apples to apples comparison. Wally is an hour away and I dunno about Dollar General. I'm still waiting for you to do so, ya got a couple days yet. Nobody is disagreeing with me though.
