If scum has an unblockable shot, which they usually do, mason recruiting Tony is more useful than a futile doc save. Then Tony dies and you still get a N1 result perhaps and Tony's voice/confirmation.
If they don't have an unblockable kill, they probably wouldn't shoot the watcher blindly N1.
So I don't see which scenario a one use doc save is more useful than a mason recruit.
They probably don't given Chris' stated disdain for them. If they don't, they might shoot Tony if Corrik is town and they actually believed his claim. Not the likeliest scenario maybe, but it's better to be safe that gleefully commit suicide.

Don't try to deny it, you wouldn't start off the way you did unless you'd thought about whether there was a chance I was town power and decided you didn't think I was, not unless you're dumber than you think I am. My thought process makes perfect fucking sense if you try to actually think about what I would do as town. Not what you think you would do, what I, Panthera, would do. The fact that you've posted shit about some of my posts indicating I've given up shows you haven't tried that, because you've seen me in action enough that you should know better.
