I can also surmise that the movie is rated so highly because many clicked on the 10 button, but if you told me that, that again doesn't explain a phenomenon that well. Nolan consistently gets very high inflated marks compared to the critics and even other audience scoring sites, and I'm wondering if Nolan was a IMDb user at some point or what. I mean, is Inception really a better film than Casablanca? ParanoidObsessive posted... It doesn't change the fact that you're wrong, and that people will respect you less for it, but you're certainly free to have them. Critics are more divided than audiences. People that actually watch movies for a living can see that the twist is lame. But I'm with general audiences for the first hour when the movie is setting up. Set-up is excellent. But that twist. ...
