Topic	Have you ever tried Ancestsry, 23andMe, or any other DNA test?

Our very German family turned out to be 1/4 Scandinavian, 1/4 East European, and a smattering of Mediterranean and British. I theorized it was probably some 'Viking' ancestors, given that literally every single place was somewhere that had Norse colonies. Considering we can only trace our heritage to a random dude with two different names and three different wives from Lorraine France/Germany around the 1800's, it's pretty much just a theory I can't prove. All my male ancestors were white Slave owners :( It is interesting to be related to famous historical figures though.
