Why is this even an argument.

Yes, violence is wrong, especially when it's used in place of political discourse.

No, Ness had no way of knowing he was a Trump supporter, even if he might suspect it, so maybe this is more about the fact that he was flipping off the lead singer for two songs and not an attack on a Trump supporter. Literally, this is just another Trump supporter with a persecution complex. They want to be persecuted enough so they can turn around and persecute someone else and act like it's fair play.
