Why couldn't he ever place much value on anyone beside himself...? Aaron released his grip very slowly, and then he stood up. There was a quiet moment of tension as Owen was let go. Owen glared up at the man who had just threatened his life. He thought about making Aaron's brain explode. His skull was shuddering already with pain and irritation, and the natural instinct to retaliate against the person who had attacked him. Then he thought about the body in the entry hall.
