I know it's caught on with more than just the Rays but I think this is the first time I've seen it involving the Rockies. Honestly, they might be smart to try it themselves given what a disaster Tyler Anderson has been lately. The interesting thing is that they chose the guy who closed last night's game. I wonder if in modernish history that's the first time a guy pitched consecutive innings across two different games.
