Eh, I think you're overthinking it, Para. I just googled Monokuma, and most of the images are of him solo, and in fact, the first page shows pictures of him standing next to two different characters, so it's not like the spoiler is obvious. And the first wiki page that shows up doesn't mention the spoiler until way deep into the page.

Let him in to the contest, and let the series get the exposure, and anybody curious enough to dig that deep probably wouldn't care that much about the spoiler anyway.
