I can think of only a couple MCU movies worse than Avengers 2. I definitely have complaints about the movie but every time I watch the movie Im surprised at how much better it is than I remember It has too much going on, but it has some of the best moments in the MCU Don't get me wrong, it's a good movie and you're right it does shine in a few scenes.
