I know how you feel, but unfortunately I live in the suburbs where public transportation is not reliable. I've been a doormat for my whole life and I just knew as soon as I get a car, I'd be getting requests from everyone and like an idiot, I'd say yes every time. But over the past year, I've been learning to put myself first or at least demand gas money if I have to go far out of my way. Or just lie and say I'm busy.
