The FBI is already blowing through tax dollars trying to nail Trump, and that case at least happened recently. The FBI can only get involved if Trump wants them to get involved. Kavanaugh is a presidential nominee, so only the president have the power to start an FBI investigation. Unless it's related to a federal crime, the FBI will not involve themselves. The senate doesn't have any power in this matter and no matter how much the Dems push for it, it's not gonna happen. Ford either show up on Monday or be forgotten.
