Aaand done. Thought there were 10 episodes, but apparently only 9. The Dragon Prince is a cutie. I knew as soon as they mentioned he could only be born in the eye of a storm I knew that power stone was gonna have to go, I dunno why they took so long with that reveal considering Callum is played to be clever. Didn't expect the cop out of the Prince tearing off Rayla's binding though. I was hoping it wouldn't be able to be removed and the group would have to learn how to get along with a one-handed moon elf and a novice mage with no magical artifacts- only his wits and a cube he doesn't fully understand. Could've been epic, but they've shown their hands as a kid's or very young adult show by refusing to make the darker sacrifice. Ah well. It was still fairly enjoyable, and I'll definitely watch the inevitable second season. ---
