Youre choosing to only recognize the most extreme group regarding a viewpoint
By your logic youll never be convinced of anything because someone out there is an asshole about it
I get where you're coming from but this is a group that's been consistently obnoxious, even with the extremists. PETA is another good example of a normally painful group of people but with an even noisier and annoying subgroup.

If we listen to them while they're doing stupid shit like this, they'll keep doing it because they think people are listening only because of the stupid shit they're doing. If they would just talk to us, it could help me to buy food where the animals are treated better if possible...
110% this.

I would understand it if he was at one of those protests and he shouted "LOL IM GOING TO BUY THESE EGGS HAHA LOL!"
Given the chance, I absolutely would.

So just regular vegans
This is funny because it's too close to the truth-I've been stopped by a random vegan stranger to tell me the place I'm ordering from "supports murder" (it was just a regular food truck and tbh I probably would have still eaten it if they admitted to being unnecessarily cruel, it was pretty good) and I've never met one that doesn't bring it up on the hour plus we have friends that have gone vegan (they're a couple, she already was and converted him) that nobody bothers to invite out for dinner anymore because they're just unpleasant to be around whenever the subject of food comes up.
