I hated Obama because almost every one of his domestic policies was legitimately bad. Specifically, did you know that Cash for Clunkers was billed as helping the economy and the environment, but the estimated lost income from the spare parts of the destroyed vehicles actually meant it was a net economic loss, on top of the fact that the average fuel economy of the vehicles purchased under it was actually LESS than that of the vehicles traded in under it?
Obamacare's been proven a shitshow ad nauseum, so I won't go there. How about banning incandescent light bulbs? You know how long it takes for the lack of incandescent light bulbs to be a net positive for the environment? Nobody does yet, because it hasn't happened - they're a shitshow to manufacture, environmentally speaking, and literally nobody pays to have them discarded properly, so their chemicals end up fucking up the environment. But, hey, who gives a shit about the environment if it's a Dem fucking it up, right?
How about locking up journalists and whistleblowers who criticized his administration via the Espionage Act? Or spending billions of dollars to fight FOIA requests? Is that an acceptable thing to hate Obama for?
What about selling guns to drug cartels and de-facto terrorist organizations? Or blaming dead cops for those dead cops being killed by BLM supporters? Or, in the aftermath of the largest, most damaging flood in Louisiana history, he literally ignored it so he could pay his respects to the mother of Micheal Brown?
What about the fact that he has publicly defended numerous actual criminals instead of the law enforcement officers that he is supposed to lead numerous times, only for it to turn out that the criminals he defended were in the wrong?
It can't be any of that? None of that is an acceptable reason to have a problem with President Obama's term?
You could come up with a list just as long for Trump if you wanted to. But you dont want to.
Because my hatred of Trump isn't questioned, so why would I bother?
I hate his rhetoric. I hate his tantrums. I hate his tariffs. I hate his wall. I hate the petty arguments he gets in. I hate his thin skin. I hate his constant exaggerations. I hate his complete lack of tact. I hate that I've seen enough from him to think he actually believes he's got a reason behind his bullshit antics. I hate the fact that he's increased government spending. I hate that he's backed down on his promise to reign in FISA and the Patriot Act.
And, even though I've repeatedly stated all of this on this board, you and your ilk still think I "support him" outside the realm of the fact that, as a basically-trained Marine, I'm indoctrinated to respect the sitting President, regardless of my personal feelings. I mean, I've repeatedly stated how I voted for Gary Johnson, and that nobody who voted for Clinton has a right to complain about Trump, because they're basically the same person, but I'm a Trumpist, according to you. ---
