If you don't embrace authoritarian left wing politics you're viewed as a moron at best or worse someone to be vilified. I try to avoid the political pages and stick to special interests. Analysis of favorite shows, sports or video game discussion is fine. Askreddit, TIL, mildlyinteresting, subreddits like that are good.
