GameFAQs is also a slowly dying site that only has a tiny fraction of a niche userbase, and at this point has almost no appreciable effect or influence on the rest of the Internet or digital culture as a whole.
If Reddit is cable TV, GameFAQs is someone with a black and white TV with tinfoil and rabbit ears trying to watch a UHF channel. Someone complaining about cable regulation or accusing cable networks of censorship isn't going to care what Uncle Bucephus is watching on channel 87.
Hey, don't knock the UHF stations @ParanoidObsessive, Without WLNY, I probably would have missed 2/3 of ST:TNG back in it's original run. >_> ---
