Facebook and WeChat have allowed me to stay in contact with them. My dad, who has never seen his granddaughter in person (I haven't been to Canada in nearly 2.5 years and my dad broke his neck almost a year ago so air travel, especially to Asia would be difficult) is at least able to see her grow up due to Facebook.
