You can pretty much use YouTube for everything car related now and figure it out yourself, just in a longer amount of time. Not in the long term, if you actually want to stay away from a mechanic shop. Why not the long term? Because eventually, if you never want to go into a mechanic shop again, you're going to need a lift and a shit-ton of specialized tools.
