Reading the Bible doesn't require to have faith, it's not a prerequisite. I'll admit that it being a huge influence in western history might give it more clout in general. But beyond that, you could use the "knowing whats told inside, you might like some if it's subtextual teachings" about literally anything. Absolutely. Even with major texts of other religions.
