It sounds like a hoax, but each of the major series *does* have a story and the fact that the story in the Classic games is on the simpler side makes it easier to adapt. Doctors Light and Wily work together creating robots. Wily decides to reprogram some of them in attempt to do evil things. Dr. Light reprograms Mega/Rock, one of his last robots, into a fighting machine to stop the others. Then you'd have MM going to different parts of the city to stop robots, presumably while exploring his human side. And towards the end you could toss Proto Man in there as the final enemy or just give Wily a mechanized suit. The story pretty much writes itself. The Popo posted... does this have any chance of being any good? Yes, in theory. No, in practice. DPsx7 posted... Why do they always choose games with next to no story?
