Kingdom Hearts: The Story So Far collects the entire saga on PS4
One of the most lukewarm takes in gaming is that the story of Kingdom Hearts is impossible to follow. Spread across 12 unique titles thus far Kingdom Hearts 3 will be the 13th entry the timeline is notoriously complex, sure. But Square Enix is doing its best to help out anyone whos fallen off the Kingdom Hearts train since the first game launched in 2002, releasing the most complete compilation yet for the series this fall.
Out Oct. 30, Kingdom Hearts: The Story So Far for PlayStation 4 will include every relevant piece of story content in a single set. The package collects both Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix and Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, so that fans will no longer need to make two separate purchases to get the entire series under one roof.
That seems to be the biggest selling point of the $39.99 compilation. The Story So Far lacks new content, but it makes up for it by housing every Kingdom Hearts game. Only problem is, neither collection it draws from has the games listed in chronological order, so youll still have to work that part out yourself.
