Like all these social movements, what started out genuine, well-intentioned and generally good (if sometimes misinformed) turned into a politicized monster that cares less about the people it claims on paper to care about, and more about political goals.

Good riddance if it's dead. Even better if it goes back to the original form, though how long it'll stay there is anyone's guess.
