nuclear

being fair, nuclear does not contribute to climate change, although it poses some problems of its own, those problems are far less immediate.

nuclear waste is hazardous to the planet so id just say all human-caused planetary destruction is bad lol

I do not disagree, but I have to emphasize that the problems are not directly linked. Climate change and the need to cut carbon emissions is a problem that requires addressing on a very rapid timeframe; the impact of nuclear waste will not be felt as rapidly and if it enables us to cut emissions, it's a valid short-term solution.

"It pollutes" isn't really the issue, "it pollutes in a specific way that is a present crisis" is the issue.
