I try to eat healther, but I don't go overboard. Whole grain bread instead of white. Occasionally eating beans or nuts instead of meat. Low fat milk instead of whole. Eating more fish, especially sardines. More fruit, less refined sugar. More unsweetened iced tea, less soda. Etc.

I also try to get more exercise. I park in the back of the lot. I walk down the driveway (about 1/4 mile) to get the mail or take out the trash instead of using the pickup. I've walked up and down the road often enough that the neighbors all recognize me (and my nearest neighbor is a mile away).

My weight has remained pretty much constant for the past 12 months, but I've had to buy two increasingly smaller belts and I've added 3 more holes to the current one. That means I must be losing fat and gaining muscle at about the same rate.
