Many Republicans were quick to condemn the rhetoric. C.J. Grover, a spokesman for Yoder, said that the congressman doesnt believe this type of rhetoric is appropriate at all. Its unacceptable. These kind of nasty personal attacks are all too prevalent in politics these days, and it needs to stop.
But we will probably support him anyway because fuck morals
I mean, this person said a lot of stupid shit so yeah you don't want to support that. But at the same time, lawmaking is a pretty important factor in our lives, too.
Let's say you have this rare car that you love. And the only person in town who can get it up and running and restored again is some racist asshole. Remember, you really love this car. Getting it up and running is really important to you. But you also hate racists. What do you do? Go without the car? It's a tough decision.
Find someone from out of town, because Im not a hypocrite
This is where you have to compromise your values no matter what. You can either:
* Compromise your financials values by paying more to hire somebody from out of town to do it. * Compromise your hobby values by not getting the car fixed at all. * Compromise your associative values by paying the racist to do it.
So if all of those things are your values, you face being a hypocrite no matter what you do.
"Samurontai says he loves his car....but won't pay to get it fixed in town?" "Samurontai says he values smart spending...but paid 5x more for repairs than necessary?" "Samurontai says he doesn't like racism...but hired a known racist to fix his car?"
Except, no. Not at all
Samurontai says he values smart spending, and doesnt like racism, so he payed slightly more for repairs so he wasnt giving business to a known racist ---
