None of these state why Halloween is better though.
Everything that you could do on another Holiday is either moot considering the reason for the holiday existing, or something you could do any other day.
What other day could you go around dressed as a monster covered in blood during the night and scaring people and get away with it? Halloween is the only day we can express our dark sides without being arrested, what's more, we get candy for it.
If you walk around scaring people as an adult, you are a creep. But you can literally dress up like a monster any day, at any time. Candy is always available.
This. Not to mention, you can do all this stuff on other days, as well...

Id also like to point out that most adults dont have to go to work on Christmas, Thanksgiving, July 4th (you know, real holidays).
Thats something I cant do everyday. If I tried to stay home with my family everyday and exchange gifts, I would be fired and not have money for said gifts.
