I think it is always dangerous to try to extrapolate that personal experience to define a broader trend, and it may not be. A broader study would be very useful to the industry of scientific publishing as a whole. TBH, a study on resubmit rates for accepted publications would probably cover it for this. --- And when the hourglass has run out, eternity asks you about only one thing: whether you have lived in despair or not. ...
