Topic	I get sick of the military worship in the US

I strongly object to military service myself and would elect to partake in an alternative service program, likely healthcare given my work background. Yea that doesn't happen. I mean they SAY it happens to sound on the up-and-up, but that doesn't happen. You are basically handed a gun and told you can shoot at us and get killed or you can shoot at them and maybe survive.
