My guess is it is the only option for some people. When I lived in the country (real country, not NMB country) the only options for "eating out" were McDonalds, diner, or bar. Still doesn't excuse why one of the McDonalds near me needs two drive-through lanes when there is a Wendy's just across the street. --- I am a senior software engineer.
