My mom and dad divorced when I was 1 and then my mom and I moved from Pensacola, FL to Austin, TX when I was about 3... I grew up without my dad for the most part, but we've started on touch via telephone over the years. He came to visit in Austin a couple times and I've gone to see him a number of times. My dad talked about me in every conversation he had with people... He just made some bad choices in life that caused my mom to walk away to protect me, herself, and her career. --- ...
