I didn't get tired of Xenoblade X until the post-game stuff. Material farming got tedious, and after a while you think, "what am I even doing this for? I already finished the story." And then you quit. But that's still a solid 100 - 150 hours before you reach that point.

It gets boring after 30 hours (and that's when you get your mech). I really need to go back and beat it, but I suck at that game.

I think it depends on playstyle. Like I never really got bored of it. Though, I think it took longer for me yo get my mech. But I feel getting the mech makes it better. You can get to new places now. Haha. But I really love that game...

I think maybe the music just got to me. it's so generic and so good and bad at the same time.

The area music is great, and so is the boss themes and tyrant theme. But the general battle music and especially the NLA theme (especially NLA night) are awful, and you hear those for a huge chunk of the play time.
True story: I'd frantically race to a point where I could reset the time of day (or to the bunker, which has its own music that's basically elevator music levels of "nothing special, but tolerable in the background") every time it was getting close to night time in NLA, just to avoid hearing the damn music start up.
I was 75% through the game before I decided to finally do a lengthy (and volume muted) night time session running through NLA to catch up on all the sidequests I had skipped.
