Baiten katos on the Gamecube.

Looked like a rpg but the actual combat is all card based. I almost returned the game cause I hated the mechanic but I got use to it.

When you go into the Imperial capital near the middle of the game, that damn dungeon went on for hours.

Overall the game was ok.

Yeah, some sections in both games drag. Still good, of course.
The first one is by far the weirder one mechanically. Lots of cards change over time(often for the worst!) and there are all kinds of ridiculously esoteric combos that create an insane variety of items.

Makes you wonder who sat down and figured them all out. IIRC some of them had clues in-game but I don't think they all did.
