If it results in people literally not being violent to the point of not defending themselves, that's a negative. If we don't hit children when they misbehave (something they will almost never be allowed to do or have done to them in adulthood), then they literally won't defend themselves if attacked! Sure, bro. Even if that were entirely accurate, there's also the thing that if you don't hit kids, they will grow up into a less violent adult population that won't need to defend themselves because people won't attack. LOL trying to quickly put an end to the parts of human nature that you dislike. That logic has schools being incredibly PC and coddling the shit out of the kids like life is an episode of The Care Bears. They'll turn 18 and realize that the world is a meaner place than they were prepared for.
