| Topic | What should Resident Evil 8 be like? |
| Darmik 10/21/18 9:52:17 PM #1: | There's a lot of different directions they could take it. A Resident Evil 7 successor seems the most obvious. RE7 was great and I feel like they could do a lot more with that formula. I hope they make the RE2 for RE7. More monsters, a bigger scope, crazy unlockables etc. I wouldn't even mind if they brought back the old T-Virus zombies for it. Playing RE7 in VR was such a treat and I hope that comes back too. Might be used as a way to hype up PS5 VR. I hope they keep the 'coop shooter' style in the spin-offs/Revelations style games. But my concern is that RE5 and RE6 sold a lot so they might want to go back to that. RE2 Remake seems like a balance between them but I dunno if I want them to go that style for RE8. Hell I think I'd even rather them remake RE3 in that style and keep the numbered series as this first person horror thing for at least a trilogy and do something new for RE10. --- Kind Regards, Darmik ...
