I mean, they had no problem putting in Zasalamel (admittedly probably the only character I actually was upset over losing for SCV because we didn't get a moveset that really even approximated his) and Tira, so it's not like they're outright ignoring post-II Soul Calibur. They could have gone with a later Lizardman. But even then, "just another Sword and Shield user"? It's just Sophitia in this game, since her kids and sister are nowhere to be found. SCVI is actually lacking in sword-and-board variety compared to every entry since... what, SCI? (Taking Link in SC2 as another S&S.) Unless this character list I'm looking at is incomplete, which is always a possibility, I guess. --- And though we deserved not his mercy, he has led us to this new Eden, a last chance for redemption. ...
