tbh, it depends on the people involved. The right person will be the right person if you marry within a week, a month, or a year. Conversely, you could date the wrong person for years, get married, and still have it fail.

In general, though, older people seem to take more time when it comes to marriage. It's more young people who seem to rush into it.
