Being gay -- choice or not, and I don't think it is since my sister's wife is a lesbian who underwent conversion therapy and I know she wouldn't 'choose' to be gay if she could choose because it was literal torture---was not considered socially acceptable and still isn't in some places. You've now decided to bring choice into it. Being transgender -- again choice or not -- is considered socially unacceptable in many places. Just because something is socially unacceptable doesn't mean someone should be discriminated against. It doesn't matter if it's a choice or not. You shouldn't discriminate against someone because they are a Muslim--even if they can choose another religion. --- Growing up, I wish some teacher told me "You probably won't ever need this, but if you don't learn it, you might miss out on something really cool." ...
