His powers is that he literally can't be killed but they still managed to kill off the ~~unkillable black guy.~~ That irked for plot inconsistency reasons. The comic comes up with so many creative ways for him to survive impossible situations. It felt like the script didn't actually know anything about the character and kind of wasted him here.
