Topic	Dark Souls: what are some spells I can get fairly early?

However, Power Within is in Blighttown under the huge parasite thing. It increases your damage by 40% and increases stamina regen while giving you a minor poison-like effect. I've also noticed Great Combustion is really good for catching enemies off guard. Once you upgrade your Pyromancy Flame to +10, exit the area where you fought Quelaag and go straight forward to find Quelana. You'll be able to buy it from her for 5,000 souls. Black Flame is dark-themed and really good, but it comes later.
