Nothing you say makes any sense. That ad type is in direct response to Trump's nomination, it couldn't have been around for a decade, and the GoP has put getting seats over any policy, for some time now.


Maybe instead of muddlinging they could stick to the issues. Here is the facts: if you don't give a reason to vote for you, then people won't vote for you. Especially when the other side DOES stick to the issues voters care about. I mean who do you think the average voter votes for:

Democrat nominee: Trump bad, vote D

Republican nominee: we want to raise minimum wage and spread the wealth around

I mean, you got to understand, the average American doesn't care about politics and won't research it. Your only way to get to them is quick 30 second commercials on the radio or television. This is the time to wow people and mudslinging is a terrible strategy
